Nope

The labels experiment back in February failed. I found that I had to manually create links to all of my labels in the other blog--and every time I add a new label, I need to hand code a new link to it. Which is a pain, but I guess it beats having to recreate all of my links, my coding for ads, my hits counter, and my site feed. Le sigh.

Just added list of labels to my sidebar. The real purpose of this is to see if I can borrow the code and migrate it to my other blog without selecting a new-style layout and losing ALL of my template formatting!

Playing with doo-dads

The purpose of this post is entirely limited to playing with doo-dads.

I made the switch yesterday with my other blog. And I had a couple of nervous hours while the switch took place--not "a few minutes." It seems to have gone okay, I think. No complaints from users yet.

Nervous about switching

I have another blog that's completely unrelated to this one. Blogger keeps nagging me to switch to Blogger [no-longer] Beta, but I'm a little nervous about making the switch. Over in the Google Groups "Blogger" group, I found posters who had regretted making the switch for various reasons. Once the change has been made, it can't be undone. I want to test this for myself.

I will probably end up deleting this blog once I'm satisfied with my tests. Unless I think of something else to do with it.
